Frequently Asked Questions

Ask Us Anything

Do you offer trial classes?

We encourage new members to come along and have a try! Prospective members are able to attend one trial class before being required to become a member to be covered by insurance.

How much does it cost for membership?

All registered athletes are required to pay an annual club membership of $60.

Individual membership includes membership to Gymnastics WA which includes the following benefits:

  • Sport Injury insurance for all registered members & volunteers

  • Membership Card (one per person)

  • Kindergym Crew Membership Pack (one per person)

  • Free spectator entry to all Association run events (excluding International and National events)

What other fees are there?

Fees are paid for each class your gymnast enrolls in. These are generally paid at the start of each term or from the date they enroll. Class cost depends on how many hours per week your gymnast participates in.
The club has some uniforms available for sale. Competition leotards are required for competing at regional and state events and these can be purchased through the club.

What does my gymnast need to wear?

We encourage competition to girls to wear a leotard and tight fitting shorts, and other gymnasts to wear comfortable slim fitting shorts and tops. Coaches may need to 'spot' each gymnast during certain skills to help them learn in a safe and secure way - so tighter clothing is preferred for safety reasons. There is currently not a set club uniform to wear.

Are you a KidSport Club?

Yes! We are proud to be part of KidSport.
KidSport enables eligible Western Australian children aged 5 to18 years to participate in community sport by offering them financial assistance of up to $150 per calendar year towards club fees.
In 2021, all eligible children with a valid Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card will be able to access two KidSport vouchers with the second becoming available from 1 July 2021.
